About Us

Since its founding in 1989, Empire Volleyball Club has been committed to developing exceptional athletes and building one of the premier volleyball programs in Northern California. Based in Sonoma County, Empire provides year-round training and competitive opportunities for girls and boys in 3rd through 12th grade, serving athletes from across Sonoma, Napa, Marin, and Lake counties, as well as the greater Bay Area.

At Empire, we believe volleyball is about more than winning matches. Our mission is to provide high-quality instruction while instilling the values of teamwork, responsibility, self-discipline, perseverance, accountability, and self-motivation. We strive to create an environment where athletes are challenged to reach their full potential both on and off the court.

Over the years, Empire has earned a reputation for excellence in player development and competitive success. Our experienced coaching staff emphasizes advanced technical training, volleyball IQ, strong character, and a championship mindset, preparing athletes to compete at the highest levels of club volleyball and beyond. As a result, Empire has gained recognition among collegiate coaches nationwide, and many of our alumni have gone on to play at colleges and universities across the country.

While Empire's top teams compete successfully at the regional and national levels, one of the hallmarks of our program is our commitment to serving athletes across the entire skill spectrum. From introductory and developmental programs to elite national teams, we provide opportunities for players of all experience levels to learn, improve, compete, and develop a lifelong love of the game.
